Programme for 2008
Meetings
are held on the last Monday of the month except when this falls
on a Bank Holiday, in which case meetings will be held one week
earlier. Meetings begin at 7.30 unless otherwise stated and are
usually held in Room M18 at the Wiltshire College, Lackham, Nr
Lacock, Chippenham.(Map)
Visitors are very welcome to attend.

May - Shook Swarm demonstration and visit to branch teaching
apiary. 6.30 start

June - Annual Bar-B-Que and members apiary visit. 6.30pm start,

Branch
teaching apiary open every other Saturday morning in the season,
for members to take part in various beekeeping projects like queen
rearing, disease diagnostics/preventive treatment, bee breeding
and bee management techniques with WBKA Education & Training
Officer Alan Stonell and MBKA Apiary Manager John Whitford.
There
are other one day events that are in the process of being arranged,
once finalised, will be announced in branch newsletter Beelines
and the Melksham pages of the WBKA web site.
